New Building. New Home.
The current and future members of Canterbury Episcopal Campus Ministry in Harrisonburg, Virginia, have been given the opportunity to design and construct a new home for our ministry. To grow and thrive in our new building, we’ll need to fill the new Canterbury House with a little more than just the Love of God—namely, furniture! Here’s where we could use your help.
The new Canterbury House will have a designated worship space—overwhelmingly the feature of the house we’re most excited for. We will also (finally) have a larger kitchen that meets ADA requirements so that everyone can use—as well as a large dining room fit to accommodate the projected growth of the ministry. Canterbury is our “home away from home,” so comfort is priority #1. Our gathering room and study “cave” (as we like to call it), will be designed for both comfort and functionality. And it’s that functionality we feel is critical to our mission, as other members of our community can use this space for their own gatherings and meetings.
Our fundraising goal is $25,000
Donate NOW and Receive a Special Thank You
As a thank you, to everyone who donates, we’ll send a specially crafted ornament to help commemorate our first year in the new building. If you donate $250 or more, you will have the option to have your name (or the name of whom the donation is honoring) embossed on a brick that will be placed into our new patio, or have your name placed into one of our Book of Common Prayers or Hymnals. More information coming soon.
How to Donate
