Laura is an Episcopal priest; she served churches in Alaska and Mississippi before being called to campus ministry in Harrisonburg. All aspects of ministry bring her joy, and campus ministry is her passion. She is married to Russell, a Coast Guard veteran. They have 3 sons who are in college and high school. She enjoys gardening, baking and road trips.
Kaelie is a Senior Health Science major with a minor in Pre-Physical Therapy. She loves that no matter what type of day she is having, the people at Canterbury always find a way to make her laugh. Alongside Canterbury, Kaelie is an active member of JMU Student Ambassadors, Overcoming Barriers, and Student Duke Club. In her free time she loves photography, skiing, and watching JMU Football.
Alyssa is a Junior from New Hampshire. She is a Psychology Major and Disability Studies Minor and also part of the Marching Royal Dukes. Alyssa has been attending the Episcopal Church for her entire life and has been an avid participant in the choir and theater program for many years. This is her second year on the vestry at Canterbury and she is very excited about the upcoming transitions awaiting Canterbury!
Trinity is a Sophomore Nursing major with a minor in Human Resource Development from Staunton, Virginia. She loves the warmth and fellowship found at Canterbury and looks forward to attending service every Sunday. Trinity is the Treasurer of her hall’s Community Activities Board, a future Resident Advisor, and a member of Glamour Gals. When not studying or at church, Trinity can be found hanging out with friends, listening to music, or reading.
Rebecca is a Sophomore Psychology major with minors in Spanish and Non-Profit Studies. She loves the loving and encouraging atmosphere and inclusivity at Canterbury. When she is not at Canterbury or studying at Carrier Library, she can be found volunteering with the Harrisonburg Helpers, working out at UREC, or watching a good Disney movie.
Mary is a Sophomore Marketing major. She believes Canterbury provides a loving and friendly environment that always leaves her in a happy mood. Outside of Canterbury, she can be found snuggling up with a good book, strolling through the arboretum, or making one of her million excursions to E-hall
